 I don't even know where to begin!  I am the author of.. I'm afraid I may be on the way to being an addict instead of a collector.. It's so nice to be able to have these pant custom-fitted.  Being only 5 feet tall, it's been hard to find riding pants that fit well -- until I found Equissentials.  I love the (endurance) seat leather going all the way down to the ankle and the Western jods with the zippers on the lower leg are just plain cool.  It's also nice to deal with a company that has such exceptional customer service.

Well I just ordered my fifth pair of Equissentials riding pants.  Obviously I love them.  This time, however, I also ordered the Leather Therapy Laundry Solution and Leather Therapy Rinse and Dressing.  Not only do you make the best riding pants ever, but these two products go hand in hand with your pants.  I tried both on my oldest pair, over three years old.  I could not believe my eyes, the fabric and the leather look brand new and feel it too.  Thanks for supplying such wonderful products to take care of these pants and make the most of them.  I will never be without!!

...Dear Sir,

In January 2002, my unit, the Pittsburgh Police Mounted Patrol, received four pairs of your “Deerskin Full Seat Arctics”. As a unit, we really decided to put these riding pants “to the test” before declaring what we thought of them.

For a background, it should be noted that we are a full-time mounted unit. We ride seven days a week, four to six hours per day. Only ice, lightening or fog will stop us. While we generally do not have a lot of snow accumulation, we do have endless weeks of wet, windy frigid temperatures. It is very difficult to stay warm even when layering the clothes, which makes a person cumbersome and bulky, which is not good for police work.

The remedy was your “Arctic” riding pants. They are warm beyond belief without the bulk. They do not allow the wind to penetrate and snow does not make them wet. They are also extremely comfortable and flattering to different shapes; we have three women and one man.

To further test the pants, we decided to wear the “Arctics” while mucking the stalls before we rode. We are pleased to report that, even after mucking and haying, the pants looked clean and professional enough to go on patrol. They do not attract barn dirt and hay is easily shaken off. They also wash up and dry quickly.

In summary, we want to say that these riding pants are great! Should anyone want to contact me, you may give them my email address.

...I purchased a pair of the full seat pants several months ago, and I love them.  I was trying to replace a pair I had purchased from a "competitor" last year or so, and received absolutely no response from these people despite phone calls, faxes, e-mails, etc.  Not only are your pants a better quality, but doing business with you on-line is so easy.  What a pleasure!  I found your website by chance, and I'm delighted I did.  I can't ride in any other type of pant.  These are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned.  Also the leather wash and conditioner is terrific.  The pants look just like new after washing.

Hi,
I am a junior rider and I have some of your endurance clothes from the AERC convention this year.  Your representative properly fitted them to my size. -3 pairs of tights and a burgundy t-shirt.  The pairs of pants consisted of 1-heavyweight, 1- midweight, and 1-lightweight.  I have so far worn all three of them in endurance rides.  I wore the heavyweight on a fifty-mile ride that was point to point and had every type of weather that you could imagine.  Yet, the pants kept me comfy, and warm through sleet, hail, snow, rain, etc.  Plus just about everyone else asked me where I got them.  Well, on my -50-Mile ride I wore your middleweights.  That was some tough terrain, but they didn't snag, tear or get rolled up, they stayed firm, and finely fit.  Then, a couple of weeks ago I wore your lightweights on a -75- mile ride and again it was tough terrain and long hours in the saddle, but again they didn't snag or tear, but stayed perfectly fit, and firm, plus the -3- of them still look brand new.  My other riding tights have holes on the seams, and holes just about everywhere, and I haven't ridden them as tough, fast, or as long as I have yours.  I haven't even had them for a year and they have holes in them.  Your pants on the other hand have been through rougher terrain and faster paces, but haven't even torn or gotten that old fuzzy look.
